The Sales Analyst I will be responsible optimizes the company's sales strategies by analyzing trends, preparing forecasts, and evaluating current performance to sales goals. Assists the Sales Managers in identifying sales opportunities and developing tactics to grow market share in assigned product category and channels.

This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Roswell Ga

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Work closely with Demand Planning and Market Management on sales forecasts for assigned product categories and channels.

· Work closely with Sales Managers, Product Managers and Market Managers to document market opportunities for new and existing products.

· Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly sales analysis for regions, territories, markets, customers, and category segments.

· Monitor sales budgets and trends to ensure that key performance indicators are met.

· Utilize DSS and MTMS to generate reports requested by Sales Managers.

· Develop sales presentations for customer meetings and web content.

· Provide market share analysis support for marketing management.

· Develop and maintain customer profitability matrices.

· Partner with Marketing and other functions to mine sales data for trends.

· Analyze data and create reports, presentations, and data visualizations to communicate analysis and recommendations.

· Manage customer’s inventory and ordering systems and recommend changes as needed to maintain customer KPI.

· Track orders and shipments as needed.

· Maintain and update customers product information pages.

· Learn and utilize customer’s ordering and data management systems.

· Provide analytical and reporting support to multiple internal departments.

· Provide product and customer order support to dealer locations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

· Business Administration, Marketing or related degree from a college or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

· Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.

· Ability to work cross-functionally across organizations.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

· Experience in collecting and presenting statistical data and converting into reports.

· Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and summary reports.

· Ability to speak effectively before employees and groups of customers.

· Advanced mathematical skills including the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and commissions.

· Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Knowledge of Category Management principles and best practices
