Position Snapshot

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated Senior AV Sales professional with a proven track record of generating design/build Audio Visual systems for local, regional, and international corporate accounts.

Reporting to the VP of Global Sales, this position is responsible for generating profitable revenue/gross profit in support of their assigned quota and achieving high customer satisfaction from clients while maintaining effective working relationships with other team members including Project Managers, Design Engineers, and sales administrative support.


What You Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience in AV, videoconferencing or related technology.
  • Must have the capability to comply with all safety rules and regulations required by clients for site visitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate a minimum of $5 million in revenue per year.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate a minimum of $1.25 million gross profit per year.
  • Has met or exceeded quota for the last 3 years.
  • Demonstrated experience in penetrating and upselling accounts.
  • Contract payment negotiation experience.
  • Advanced managed services sales experience (full solutions set).
  • Demonstrated ability to convert clients into enterprise accounts: multi-location, multiple services, sole-servicing.
  • Ability to work effectively with other business units to expand cross-selling.
  • Ability to work with other departments to improve internal processes and efficiencies.
  • Ability to mentor/coach other team members.
  • Proven history of performance in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships including competence in presenting to the Director, VP, and C-level.
  • Excellent networking and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately create customer proposals detailing the scope of work, equipment list, and line item pricing of labor and materials.
  • Excellent computer skills, including a strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.) and Salesforce.com.
  • Strong writing skills are necessary to create detailed system proposals.
  • A strong understanding of audio-visual, display, and videoconferencing equipment, applications, and functionality including remote control system products and applications (Crestron, AMX, etc.).
  • Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
  • Ability to draft basic signal flow sketches.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction environments (power, conduit, core drills, etc.).
  • An understanding of technology trends and solutions within the unified communications marketplace.
  • A Bachelor's degree
