Join our growing team! We are hiring Delivery Drivers to work out of our Milford location. Hourly wage starting at $18-$22 plus quarterly bonus potential. A typical schedule begins at 6:30am and ends at 3:30pm. Candidates must have 2 years of commercial driving experience to be considered.

About the position

Our Delivery Drivers are primarily responsible for safely delivering batteries to customers and providing outrageous customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely deliver batteries as assigned by our dispatch every day
• Develop relationships and handle customer issues in a courteous, prompt manner in order to maintain a loyal partnership with all customers
• Hold yourself accountable to achieve company and individual goals
• In conjunction with the office, ensure customer balances are current; assist in collection of past due account amounts
• Perform physical workload (driving 8-10 hour per day with 20+ stops, lifting and delivering multiple batteries at each stop) throughout the day while still maintaining a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
• Learn the company policies and procedures and work within them, whether you are in the office, at the warehouse or delivering product to our customer

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 years)
• 2 years previous commercial driving experience required with box trucks
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift 25-70 pounds, on a regular basis
• Ability to use multiple technologies (computers, telephones, smartphones, etc.)
