GENERAL SUMMARY
The Team Leader (RAM) is responsible for overseeing and leading a Route Account Specialist team in the Route Account Management department. This position oversees IDP customer service and ensures timely resolution on IDP requests. This position serves as the first escalation point to support Route Account Specialists. This position works closely with the Manager, other Team Leaders, and Route Account Specialist Lead to identify areas of opportunities within the settlement process and makes recommendations for process improvement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees, leads and support a Route Account Specialist team in the Route Account Management Department
  • Responsible for IDP customer service metrics in Avaya Reporting (managing IDP volume and wait times)
  • Analyzes Service Now tickets for trends and recommends additional training needs for IDPs and sales leaders
  • Responsible for ensuring all IDP requests are logged into Service Now timely and accurately
  • Responsible for conducting welcome phone calls to all new IDPs
  • Works directly with IDPs in a proactive manner to resolve discrepancies
  • Communicates with the DSD Sales leaders on an as needed basis to discuss current or potential problems
  • Communicates daily missing or incorrect PO data to IDPs to ensure proper invoicing
  • Conducts weekly 309 IDP inventory movement analysis and communicates findings to Manager
  • Conducts weekly service start and end date analysis for IDPs to ensure settlement accuracy
  • Helps to support inventory cleanup for past IDPs and writes off accordingly as needed
  • Conducts daily consignment review to ensure accurate billing
  • Collaborates with Route Finance Associate to ensure proper IR blocking based on consignment review findings
  • Strives to find efficient ways to perform tasks; recommends process enhancements to improve business process.
  • Identifies potential issues and escalates as appropriate
  • Engages in all meetings with internal departments as well as the DSD Sales leaders
  • Collaborates with IDP Collections team to minimize IDP bad debt
  • Collaborates with Financial Associates on inventory reconciliation, stales, redistribution, and other Finance areas
  • Audits and maintains IDP accounts to ensure IDP profiles are current
  • Reconciles account status using current and historical invoicing and payment activity analysis
  • Establishes strong working relationships with sales leaders to support collections efforts. Interfaces with Sales, Operations and other Finance departments to resolve billing, collection and credit issues.
  • Provides route specific information to RAM Supervisor/Manager upon request.
  • Provides support and coverage for other associates during times of absences.
  • Responds to customer requests for service and assistance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE:
Minimal supervision; work often done independently by following practices and procedures while occasionally having worked checked. Responsible for processing of over $9 million dollars in payments weekly.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 4 years of related experience required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$47,600.00 - $91,200.00
An individual’s base pay depends on a number of factors, such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation, such as a performance-based bonus and other short- and long-term incentives. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on one’s first day of employment.
