The Stella Hotel is adding to our remarkable Housekeeping staff!!! We are in need of an additional Room Inspector. The ideal Inspector will be able to work flexible hours, be very attentive to details, be able to communicate with other departments (both verbally - via radio and electronically - computer) regarding the business needs of the hotel. Be able to communicate with team members and adequately explain when rooms need additional attention.

Essential Functions

• Assist as needed in managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry department.
• Assist in the selection, training and development of associates with an eye toward maximum associate satisfaction, productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate department’s activities with other departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction
• Assist in monitoring consumption and ordering replacement of guest and cleaning supplies.
• Inspects all check out/stay over rooms after they are made up to ensure they are cleaned to Noble house standards.

• Ensures all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all standards are being applied
• Assists in the hiring, training, and direction of new department associates
• Ensure all Housekeeping quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.
• Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenues while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
• Assist in the timely completion of performance appraisals.
• Responsible for alerting maintenance to quality issues.
• Additional duties as necessary and assigned.
