ROC Technical Support Specialist-1

Intelligent Wellhead Systems (IWS) is currently seeking a Full Time, Permanent Technical Support to join our team. IWS designs, tests, manufactures, and deploys proprietary and unique digital safety and efficiency workflow technologies for oil and gas well completion operations. In this role you will work with the leading technology for completions automation to ensure field operations are safe and efficient while also enabling our customers to access their jobs remotely and in real-time. Working 12-hour rotational shifts that includes both days and nights, as scheduled by the Remote Operating Center (ROC) Manager, this exciting role not only makes use of your existing skills but includes training and a path to certification as a CAPM, PMP, CPDA or MCSE to put you on a career track to project and product management.

Position Summary / Responsibilities:

This is an entry level position, for a motivated Remote Operating Center Technical Support Specialist, willing to learn fast and deliver Quality services Safely and Efficiently

Our team’s primary role is to service IWS field technician and customer escalations. Utilizing knowledge of SIMOPs Frac Sites, oilfield practices & terminology coupled with advanced knowledge of the IWS inVision Cloud Services platform, Microsoft Dynamics, and the IWS Standard Data Model. Full assistance in job setups, equipment utilization and deployment management, equipment tracking and equipment management, journey management and other operational support. The successful candidate will work from the IWS Remote Operations Center (ROC) in Fulshear, TX.

Scope of Work / Duties:

• Receive field or customer escalations at the Fulshear ROC, TX
• Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, chat, or email
• Assist in IWS inVision Cloud Services user management, account creation and permission settings
• Remote support to field system TPI’s, Third Party Interfaces through TeamViewer
• Perform basic oilfield calculations to confirm algorithmic calculations
• Log all interactions into IWS ticketing system. Follow tickets through to resolution. This may include detailed handover responsibilities:
• Customer support for IWS inVision Dashboard features setup, navigation, and customization
• Actively contribute to the Continuous Process Improvements
• Participate in technical trainings
• Travel to remote job sites as required
• Support Journey Management
• Support Equipment tracking

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills a must
• Proven ability to work well under pressure, in a stressful environment, with an array of personalities
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Dedicated commitment to customer success
• Eager to learn oilfield practices and terminologies
• Learn about simul-fracturing and continuous fracturing processes
• Learn about wireline timeseries data signatures and identify if data is out of typical range

· Experience using MS Dynamics and 365 Environment preferred

· Comfortable with IT, networking, and IIOT communications. The specific IWS inVision Cloud Services platform (including API) & Microsoft Dynamics training required will be provided as you onboard with our dynamic team

· Ability to take feedback and make changes to process as part pf CPI

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
