Robotics Maintenance & Repair Technician
Job description
<p>Summary: Performs preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair associated with material handling and welding robots of various manufacturer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Lead and / or perform preventive maintenance to OEM specification including exchange of lubricants, batteries fans of Fanuc, Motoman and other robot manufacturer. * Troubleshoot and perform medium difficult repairs like bearing failures, download and clear fault codes, shorts, open circuits, teach pendants and servo amplifier * Create and run basic robot programs * Read, comprehend and apply technical information including robot manuals, electrical schematics, drawings and software documentation * Manage work, appearance, and communication to ensure customer satisfaction with all services performed. * Provides Management with timely and accurate status and field service reports. * Participates in the company’s continuous improvement efforts. * Fosters collaboration across company. * Regular attendance at the assigned job site(s). Required Qualification: * Strong experience with troubleshooting and electrical and mechanical repair of machines * They MUST have Robotics troubleshooting experience * They must be willing to work hands on with maintenance and troubleshooting * 5+ years field service experience in troubleshooting and repairing both electrical and mechanical issues in a robotic system * Troubleshoot and perform medium difficult repairs like bearing failures, download and clear fault codes, shorts, open circuits, teach pendants and servo amplifier * Ability to create and run basic robot programs * Looking for candidates wanting to learn and that will be reliable! * Have a working knowledge of PLC’s * Willing to Travel</p>

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
