Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH&HS), located in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team working PRN/Casual. Shifts are 12 hour days or nights, 6:00 to 6:30.Our Mission is to partner with our community to heal, nurture and promote wellness.

Job Summary
- Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care provided for women before, during and after delivery of the baby.
- Responsible for the medical as well as the emotional needs of the patient are adequately met throughout the entire birthing process.
- Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care provided for the newborn.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medication within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Knowledge of growth and development stage pertinent to new mothers and neonates.
- Provides necessary safety measures appropriate to developmental stages served.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current RN Licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current ACLS & NRP certifications required or within 60 days of hire.
- Current EFM certification required within 6 months of hire. STABLE & ALSO certifications recommended.
- RN experience in an acute care setting required. At least one year of Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, Nursery, NICU or Antepartum experience in a hospital setting required.
