WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an ICU Registered Nurse a for a on-going contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newark, NJ. The facility is offering day and night shifts, highly competitive pay and great benefits!
Job Function:
- Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members
- Begin treatment and monitor doses
- Maintain patient records
Job Requirement:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS
- TNCC
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
