Job description
The salary range for this position is $92,167.36 - $153,612.27.
This position is bonus eligible, with a target value of 15% of salary.
- Responsible for all corporate insurance programs.
- Manage broker and third-party service provider relationships and drive accountability for service and deliverables.
- Ensure appropriate levels of insurance coverage, incorporating external benchmarking and internal risk tolerance.
- Lead the insurance renewal process by collecting, analyzing, and submitting underwriting data.
- Develop and co-present marketing submissions directly to underwriters.
- Review insurance binders, policies, and endorsements to ensure accuracy and inclusion of terms and conditions.
- Manage the company's claims process, including timely notification to insurers, and coordination of claims adjuster investigations, negotiations, and settlements.
- Facilitate surety bond requests to ensure appropriate form and substance.
- Develop and implement risk control strategies to prevent losses.
- Coordinate and participate in loss control visits by insurance companies with local facilities. Communicate and follow-up on loss control recommendations.
- Provide vendor contract review support of insurance requirements to align with coverages and contracting protocol.
- Manage the certificate of insurance process for both customers and vendors.
- Preparation of the annual insurance budget.
- Process and validate all insurance related invoices.
- Assist with facilitation of enterprise risk management program.
- Assist with ESG reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management or insurance
- 4 or more years of experience in insurance and risk management
- Manufacturing or forest products experience preferred
- Strong computer application and research skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, management, supervisory and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals across the organization
