Job description

The ReStore is open Monday - Saturday, 9am-5pm. Scheduled shifts may vary. Full-time or Part-time schedules may be considered.

This position includes assisting with the pick-up of materials (furniture, construction materials, appliances, home goods, etc.) from donor's homes throughout Emmet and Charlevoix Counties as scheduled, and day-to-day store operations including assisting customers, pricing donated items, ensuring the store is clean and well organization, open and close procedures, operating the cash register, etc.

Education and Experience:

• Interest in working with a fast-paced nonprofit making a difference in our community
• Valid State of Michigan License and a reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand, squat, bend, and climb in/out of truck on a regular basis
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Knowledge of furniture moving and safety techniques helpful
• Retail and service industry experience preferred
