Assist with the organization’s ADL programs as assignedDemonstrates knowledge of how to utilize resident care plans and interventions
Assists with the passing of resident trays and feeding of residents that require assistance
Thickens resident liquids per resident care plan
Ensure use of all adaptive equipment per resident care plan
Transfers and assists resident with ambulation per resident care plan
Checks resident wander bands for placement and function in accordance with organization policy
Monitors use of alarms per resident care plan
Monitors use of restraints per resident care plan
Coordinates care with assigned CNAs
Coordinates care with therapy
Motivates residents to complete ADLs as independently as possible
Reports changes in resident’s functional status as soon as they are identified
Ensures compliance with organization’s infection control practices
Follows HIPPA requirements
