How Role Fits with Bigger Picture:
The role of Mason at Murray Masonry works in field, on project sites, with a team to complete masonry projects of varying degrees of complexity, utilizing the tools, knowledge, and trade skills required. Reliability, communication, team focus, and ability to perform variety of masonry skills is essential.

Role Definition:
Mason collaborates with team, taking direction from crew leader and training tenders, performing tasks such as, but not limited to:

- Grinding and Re-pointing

- Lintel Replacements and Waterproofing

- Brick and Stone Facade Reconstruction

- Cast and Natural Stone Repair and Replacement

- Building Restoration

- Chimney Restoration and Rebuilding

- Staircase Restoration and Rebuilding

- Brick and Stone Foundation Restoration and Rebuilding

- Brick, Block, and Stone Construction

- Joint sealant replacement and installation

- Stucco and EIFS cleaning/repair

- Waterproofing

An array of tools are used as needed. Hand tools are expected to be procured and maintained by the Mason. Murray Masonry provides for use all power tools, personal protective equipment (PPE’s), and heavy machinery.

The successful candidate will:

1.) Work as a Team Member - Demonstrate ability to perform masonry skills.
2.) Operate aerial lifts and work from heights on scaffolding.
3.) Show a good attitude towards doing whatever is necessary to safely and properly complete a project.
4.) Be willing to be coached in order to grow and learn.
5.) Be willing to teach and train others interested in learning the trade.
6.) Be reliable and consistent in attendance, quality of work, production, and general demeanor - Solution Oriented.

Prerequisites for position:
1.) OSHA 10 (or higher)
2.) DOT Medical Card of Doctor Physical Note

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
