Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins OM Group is seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Multi-Unit Manager who has a passion for quality food with speed and helping our guest start their day off right. The Multi-Unit Manager will play a key role in providing multi-unit leadership to restaurant level Managers including driving restaurant sales and profitability, training, food safety and a people/guest first culture.

OM Group is the largest and fastest growing Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins franchisee network in Michigan with over 30+ great restaurants in the Southeast Michigan and 8+ in the greater Cleveland area. OM Group is seeking experienced Multi-Unit Managers to oversee 5-8 locations to start with a potential growth path to the next leadership level.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all restaurant level management and employees are focused on meeting and exceeding guidelines related to food safety and quality, facility cleanliness/maintenance practices and service procedures
  • Attain the financial goals of the business by effectively managing people, product quality/safety, guest service processes and standards, facilities cleanliness and maintenance. Including a focus on the revenue and profit components related to costs control.
  • Manages to budgets; follows-up daily on operating numbers and coaches restaurant level management on proper costs control.
  • Thinks strategically and helps managers to identify trends and implement action plans to improve restaurant sales and profit.
  • Takes an active role in promoting Dunkin'/Baskin Robbins in the local community, including networks with community leaders to establish relationships; participates and represents the brand in community events; keeps informed of local competitor activities; works with local organizations to help promote brand awareness.
  • Promotes a guest-first culture and holds restaurant managers accountable for continuously improving the guest experience, including: reviews guest experience reports (i.e. Guest Satisfaction Surveys), coaches and empowers restaurant management to deliver on all aspects of the guest experience including food safety and quality, speed of service, employee friendliness, problem resolution, cleanliness and order accuracy.
  • Provides constructive and actionable feedback; follows-up with managers to ensure timely and professional resolution of guest complaints and guest issues; contacts guest as needed; provides coaching that that is achievable with time goals.
  • Conducts high impact visits in the restaurants to observe all areas of operations and evaluate the guest experience, food safety and profitability.
  • Develops relationships with restaurant employees and promotes a work environment of mutual respect; seeks and acts upon employee feedback; addresses employee relations issues and ethics calls; conducts employee investigations and resolves issues.
  • Oversees the ongoing training and development of internal and external candidates for management and team leader positions; partners with management to identify development needs and implement development plans; and ensures succession management by leading training sessions and workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of Restaurant Multi-Unit Leadership experience.
  • Requires ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management skills.
  • Maintains professionalism and optimistic attitude in all situations.
  • Is a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility.
  • Good listener, self-motivator and can motivate others.
  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant; ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to restaurants and other business locations approximately 60%-70% of time.

BASE SALARY

  • $65,000 to $75,000 per year
  • Strong and attainable monthly bonus program
