Columbia County Health System is seeking an RT for its Respiratory Therapy department. Our organization brings unique opportunities to this position:

• Collaboration with Physicians, Nurses, and care plan team, advocating and delivering cardiopulmonary services
• CCHS is a rural, Critical Access Hospital that focuses on a holistic approach to patient care. We offer Hyperbaric Chamber services with out Wound Care department and Aquatic Therapy by our Rehabilitation department
• The Respiratory Therapy department is expanding to a new location, allowing you to develop your own environment

What You Will Own in this Position

• Performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic testing accurately (ABG's, oximetry, weaning parameters, etc.)
• Serving as respiratory resources for physicians, staff members, and other departments
• Managing ventilator equipment
• Conducting ECG and follow through with documentation and electronic ECG transfer to physicians for interpretation
• Collaborating with multiple departments as part of the care team to improve patient outcomes

What You Bring to this Position

• The ability to work with teams outside of your department, making sure that Respiratory Therapy plays a part in the care of our patients
• Strong communication skills with different types of groups
• The desire to learn areas such as Pulmonary Function Testing, Spirometry, DLCO, Plethysmography, Overnight Oximetry, ABI Testing, etc.
• Desire to grow a small team within rural healthcare

To Be Successful

We are looking for CRTs or RRTs! You will have an Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory program. An active Washington State license in Respiratory Therapy is required. We require active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, if you do not have it, we will provide the training. Show us your ACLS, PALS, and any other certifications you may have!

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends
