Gem State Staffing in Nampa is Now Hiring a Weatherization Technician to work for a local non-profit organization. The Technician will assist local residents in upgrading their homes with new energy efficient windows, insulation and doors. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position with outstanding benefits after a trial period.
General Requirements
- Basic knowledge of residential construction methods and materials
- Comfortability with hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Physical ability to bend, twist and stoop
- No fear of heights or confined spaces
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a Health & Welfare background screening (no theft or violence convictions)
Starting Wage: $14.50/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
