North American Properties Apartments is seeking a Resident Coordinator to provide top-quality customer service to residents of our five downtown communities. The exciting and fast paced environment demands high levels of sophistication and energy for this full-time position. This is a unique opportunity to gain multi-site experience.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary contact for residents and secondary contact for prospective residents
  • Building and maintaining resident relations
  • Responding quickly to all incoming resident communications
  • Resolving resident requests, questions, complaints, etc. and acting as the primary contact for resident complaints and issues
  • Inputting service requests and scheduling outside contractors on behalf of residents
  • Supporting the Property Manager with administrative tasks, vendor communication and scheduling, follow-up, etc.
  • Supporting the Leasing Director with administrative tasks, appointment scheduling, follow-up, etc.
  • Supporting the Leasing Director with social media, marketing, and community outreach initiatives
  • Touring apartments, amenities, and/or community to prospects as needed
  • Preparing and presenting lease contracts and related documents
  • Managing all resident and lead information through a variety of technological tools including data bases, Entrata, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Delivering notices to residents via door-to-door delivery, phone, email (individual and broadcast), social media, etc.
  • Coordinating resident activities
  • Organizing incoming mail and parcels daily
  • Straighten and organize common areas and amenity areas daily
  • Ordering office supplies, refreshments, marketing materials, etc.
  • Preparing office daily for opening and closing
  • Reporting daily, weekly, monthly activity as requested
  • Maintaining targeted occupancy
  • Other special projects and assignment as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Dependable transportation
  • Successful customer service-related background
  • Must be able to work occasional nights and/or weekends based on office and event scheduling
  • Walking for extended periods of time

Working Environment

Compensation and Benefits
