  • A randomized controlled trial (RCT) of the Provider-Assisted Families Moving Forward (FMF) Connect Program targeting mental health providers treating children with FASD and their families

  • Initial development of the Determined system of apps for adolescents with FASD and their caregivers.

  • A RCT of the My Health Coach app for adults with FASD

Primary responsibilities for the Research Assistant position include 1) assisting the project coordinator with recruitment, 2) tracking and scheduling completion of online research batteries with participants, 3) supporting engagement of community advisory boards, 4) contributing to refinements to interventions as part of the multidisciplinary development team, and 5) coding and managing data. The Research Assistant may also help with other quantitative and qualitative studies in the lab, literature reviews, and manuscript preparation.

The team that makes up these projects emphasize the importance of experience in working with diverse populations across all areas- race, sexuality, gender identity, religious affiliation, etc. Mt Hope Family Center is dedicated to not only upholding DEI in application and hiring processes, but also strives to promote opportunities for learning and growth in areas of DEI (see “Shared Values”).
