POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Support Coordinator provides assistance and support to the Customer Support team by coordinating office services, such as data entry, clerical work, records control, creating forms, and preparing reports, etc. Processes orders, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists and provides support for internal and external customers.
  • Maintains customer profiles and contract filing system.
  • Enter customer profile submittals into our internal system manually or from the online portal.
  • Research operational concerns, questions and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and transmit reports and waste shipment summaries.
  • Prepare manifests and other related shipping documents for submittal to customers for upcoming shipments.
  • Processes correspondence, reports and other documents.
  • Review and approve transactions requiring invoice preview.
  • Assist in billing adjustments, billing project maintenance and researching questions related to customer invoices.

  • Performs other, related duties as assigned. These duties may not be specifically listed in this description, but which are within the general nature typically associated with the employee’s level of work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a strong commitment to customer service and possess the ability to actively listen to customers to understand requests
  • Detail oriented for working with numbers and accuracy of information
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret company documents (ie: Waste profile, supplemental profile, recertification forms, price confirmations, quote templates, credit applications, service agreements)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, surcharges, margins, costs, sell rates applying concepts of basic elementary math
  • Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment such as scanner, calculator, copier, computer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
