Job Responsibilities

  • Own reliability improvements through:

  • Adherence to RTT systems (i.e., CL, CIL, CO, 5S)

  • Accuracy of LEDS (Line Event Data System) analysis

  • Applied Statistical Tools and Analytical Tools

  • Established problem-solving tools (FI)

  • Develop personal process proficiency / SME status for owned area(s):

  • Provide technical understanding and sense of urgency in solving problems

  • Update and develop operating procedures (SOP’s, OPL’s, Checklists)

  • Function as area owner for the Centerlines and Changeover DMS’s:

  • Develop control strategies to enable operators to respond to OOL situations

  • Train and coach Equipment Owners

  • Integrate DMS and business processes

  • Define data-based issues / opportunities for owned area:

  • Document desired results / objectives through Loss Trees/Glidepaths

  • Ensure accuracy of the line Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data

  • Identify key process parameters

  • Analyze data and present in graphical format

  • Maintain a prioritized list of issues / opportunities

  • Develop and implement solutions to systemic or chronic problems:

  • Lead root cause problem solving efforts through Unified Problem Solving

  • Complete line balancing and choke point analysis

  • Identify reapplication opportunities from benchmarking

  • Document successes for reapplication

  • Drive process stability:

  • Analyze processes and document process control

  • Prioritize areas to stabilize

  • Determine root causes, develop, and execute action plans

  • Support training needs:

  • Identify training opportunities (i.e., additional process resources)

  • Establish training on improvement tools and methodologies

  • Utilize CSD processes to validate knowledge and capability

  • Lead the development of Equipment Owners / Operators:

  • Coordinate / coach / lead resources assigned to your projects and responsibility areas

  • 60%+ on the floor

  • Performance feedback

  • Teamwork development

  • Individual recognition

  • Reinforce standards


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from accredited institution in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Food Science

  • At least 1 year of experience in production, maintenance, and/or reliability management

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

  • Proven leadership ability (i.e., collaboration, influencing & problem-solving skills)

  • Strong time management and follow-through skills

  • Ability to react to day-to-day situations without losing sight of strategy

  • Financial aptitude (i.e., budget management, cost driver understanding)

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Experience with Plant/Operations Continuous Improvement Programs

  • Experience with RCA, FMEA, Statistical Analysis, TPM, Lean Manufacturing and SAP

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Compensation:

Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
