Description:

Specialists in this role will processes patient insurance information provided by our facilities through the patient intake process to complete the patient registration process. This position ensures timely and accurate claims submission for assigned dialysis centers within a geographic region.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Minimum of three (3) years’ healthcare reimbursement experience preferred; experience with admissions, billing, and collections required
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules, regulations and Coordination of Benefits for federal, state, and/or managed care payors in multiple states required

Work Environment:

• Must be located in or near Tacoma, WA/Federal Way, WA.
• M-F 8-5pm (Some flexibility may be required)
• Level III – Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic). No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions.
