Registered Nurse/RN – Quality Improvement Program (Part-Time)

Home Care Agency is looking for Registered Nurse with Clinical and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) experience to join our homecare agency to be responsible for oversight of the agency’s Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement Program
• Responsible for agency’s Quarterly Charts Audit
• Facilitation of the Performance Improvement (PI) Committee and the Ethics Committee
• Responsible for making sure agency is ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care) compliant
• Act as resource to agency’s staff for the implementation and assessment of PIPs to improve/enhance quality of patient care and processes
• Review and update patients care pans and perform monthly charts audit
• Review caregivers weekly notes
• Conduct in-home assessment for clients and develop care plan
• Conduct quarterly supervisory visits, reviewing care plans
• Investigates and resolves patient/family member concerns regarding patient care
• Ensures the highest quality of care is provided to patients by reviewing documentations

Job Requirements:

• Current NC RN License
• Must have clinical experience in nursing
• Working knowledge of home care Licensure Rules and ACHC Accreditation Standards
• Prior home care experience preferred
• Valid NC Driver’s License and current insurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Current BLS Certification
• Reliable Transportation
