We Are Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mukwonago Operating Room - .9 FTE (Days)

Schedule Details: Day shift hours primarily 0645-1515 with rotation into 0900-1730 shift. If preferred, extended shifts (10 hours) will be considered. Call rotation for overnight, weekend and holidays

What You Will Do:


The Operating Room Nurse is an integral part of the surgical team providing quality patient care. As a circulator in the operating room, nurses are responsible for advocating for the safety and overall care of the patient.


Responsibilities:

  • Applying principles of sterile technique
  • Coordinating Care of the surgical patient
  • Communicating effectively within the perioperative team to provide seamless patient care
  • Ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available for each surgical procedure
  • Initiate safety measures created to protect patients including the pre-op checklist, time out, instrument and sharps count process
  • Documentation of the surgical procedure

What You Will Need:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN); Bachelor preferred (BSN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain upon hire
  • Previous nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting
