We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about the senior community and caring for others while building strong relationships and having fun! This is a Full-time Registered Nurse position that will require effective communication, strong supervisory experience and a love for team building. Responsibilities are in coordination with the Director of Nursing:

· Complete assessments after move-in and before any delegated nursing services are provided to the client.

· Review and revise service plans as needed due to changes in clients’ needs.

· Monitor and maintain client’s clinical chart and clinical progress notes.

· Communicate to physicians, family or responsible party, and other personnel (e.g., county caseworkers, health plan care coordinators) changes in client’s needs or conditions.

· For any client receiving assistance with medications, the RN is responsible for ordering (or delegating to an LPN) medications and assuring medication orders are renewed annually.

· Ensure all physicians orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours of receipt.

· Oversee medication administration procedures and ensure they are followed properly, investigate any errors and issues with staff, and implements corrective action plans as needed.

· Must be able to relate professionally with clients, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members.

· Provide all new home care employees with required training on orientation to home care requirements, “core competencies,” and competency evaluations for delegated nursing tasks (such as medication assistance) that may be necessary prior to any delegation of services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
