- Job Duration: 13 weeks RENEWABLE
- Shifts: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), Day Shift 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Start Date: ASAP
Description: We are currently seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at a renowned medical center. As a PACU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This position offers a 13-week contract and involves working a rotating schedule between night and day shifts.
Requirements:
- Active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU and ICU, with surgical and OR trauma experience highly preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Flexibility to float within the organization if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition during the recovery process.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Flexibility to float within the organization as needed.
