Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (13-Week Renewable Contract)

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room on a 13-week renewable contract. This is a day shift position, working four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:00). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of scrubbing experience and be well-rounded, particularly in General, GYN, Ortho Surgeries, and Podiatry. Robotics experience is preferred, specifically in Same Day Surgery and Discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on General, GYN, Ortho Surgeries, and Podiatry
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of (insert state here)
• Minimum of 2 years of scrubbing experience in General, GYN, Ortho Surgeries, and Podiatry
• Robotics experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
