JOB TITLE: RN Med/ Surg
Employment Type: Contract - 13 weeks

Location: Bartlesville or Tulsa, OK
Job Summary:
- Identify patient care requirements establish a personal rapport with patients and families and understand a plan of care throughout the patient’s experience.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
- Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patients, friends, and family to understand the disease process, medications, and self-care skills, and providing time to answer questions.
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making, or recommending adjustments to the patient’s needs.
- The nurse is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimum patient care
- Document patient care service by charting patients’ medical records accurately and in timely accordance with licensure, and regulatory hospital standards.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving.
Requirements:
- BLS - Required
- OK RN - Required
- ACLS - Preferred
- 1-2 years of recent experience in Step Down Unit
Hourly Pay: $48.00 (start)
Weekly Pay: $1728.00 (start)
