We are vigorously seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill an immediate Wellness Department Manager vacancy.

This is an ideal position for an RN that wants a Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:30 work schedule.

The RN we seek will Direct the Health & Wellness Department for the delivery of health services, support, and education at a Federally funded education and training campus. The RN will ensure that quality health services are delivered in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides management and oversight of the campus Wellness Department
• Supervises and manages medical personnel that includes and RN, LPN and medical clerk
• Provides cursory and complete medical examinations.
• Provides immunization program in accordance with CDC guidelines and as directed by the National Director of job Corps.
• Provides daily walk-in services for routine care and an appointment system for follow up.
• Provides patient assessment, triage, and treatment.
• Provides emergency care including first aid, CPR, and coordination of emergency services on and off Center.
• record keeping for immunizations, prescription, stock medication, and controlled substances.
• Provides for medication management including ordering, storage, administration, and record keeping for immunizations, prescription, stock medication, and controlled substances.
• Assures medical records are maintained and in compliance with applicable policies and mandates and Nurse Practice Act.
• Implements, executes and monitors orientation for health services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform all assigned essential duties satisfactorily.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the nursing field, preferably in a supervisory or manager role.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from a four-year college or university.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current State Professional Nurse License (Wisconsin)
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid State Driver’s License

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
