Job Summary

Our surgery center is undergoing an expansion to include advanced procedures to diagnose and treat pain in the ambulatory surgery center and clinic setting.

This registered nurse assumes leadership, responsibility and accountability for designated patients in various aspects of care. This position has a lot of potential for growth to become a management position.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this position you will:

-Provide pre and post procedure care to patients undergoing procedures

-Provide conscious sedation during procedures

-Coordinate clinical care for a pre-defined set of advanced procedures: including preparing patients through interview and education, and act as a liaison between administration, physician and patient.

-Scrub for minimally invasive procedures

-Circulate in OR

Qualifications and Skills

-Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred

-ACLS/ BLS Certificate

- Active WA state RN license

-Must pass background and drug test

-One year recent OR experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Required)
