Pay:$44/hr-$70.68/hr

Shift/Hours:

• Night Shift: 36hrs/wk, 7pm-7:30am

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

• Every other weekend
• Rotating holiday schedule

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for triaging patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient, family and/or significant other regarding pain management.
• Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family and/or significant others.
• Effectively communicates patient needs, interacts with clinical support staff to achieve the best possible patient outcomes, evaluates patient outcomes and revises patient’s plan of care accordingly.
• Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies.

Must Haves:

• CA RN License OR temporary CA License
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and MAB certifications
• At least 1 year of ED experience
• ASN

About the Unit:

• 45-50 beds
• Bleeding, breathing difficulties, severe pain, heart attack, trauma, stroke, etc
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4
