Description/Job Summary
RHD is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurses. The hours of the positions can be flexible and can include, nights, weekends, days or some combination thereof. The Registered Nurse will work closely with theDirectors and Supervisors of the group homes to assist with overseeing all aspects of medical care for those individuals for whom RHD provides services.
RHD is offering a $500 Sign-on Bonus
Essential Duties and Functions
Building relationships with providers
Insuring medical care is followed through as stated by Doctors and Psychiatrists for all individuals
Overseeing medication regimes
Kardex review
Quarterly and Annual report writing
Assessments
Attending IP meetings
Provide training as needed, including State of CT Med. Administration (oversight of CUPs)
Working conditions
This position requires the ability and willingness to travel and flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the programs.
Occasional weekend or evening hours may be necessary.

Required Experience
Licensed RN with 1 year of DDS experience and/or 1 year clinical experience (RHD is willing to train)

RHD Connecticut provides residential community living arrangements, day services, and individual habilitative supports to people who have developmental disabilities in the West and South regions in Connecticut. Currently RHD CT operates 10 CLAs, 2 Continuous Residential Support programs and supports individuals who reside in apartments in the community. RHD CT also operates one day program in the Southern region of the State.
