Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic & diverse team at Conroe Regional Medical Center located in Conroe,Texas. Conroe Regional Medical Center is a 340 bed acute care facility with Level II trauma certification, rehab unit, bariatric program, and NICU.
Position reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:
Employees who work in Healthcare are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a term and condition of employment, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status as required by applicable law and/or client requirements.

Position reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:
Work with various patient population floors with various disease states.- Conduct assessments, perform nutrition-focused physical exams, provide nutrition support recommendations and diet education as needed
- Educate patients and family members as well as facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification
- Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences and is a great team player
- Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process and documenting in the electronic medical record.
- Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be able to be flexible, a team player, and possess good time management skills.

Key Duties
- Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
- Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
- Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
- Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
- Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
