Job description

Woodstock Dental office looking for a fun, friendly and highly motivated hygienist to become a member of our team. Our staff and hygienists goal is to keep the patient's care the highest priority and not the office production goals.

- Greeting patients with a smile! After all these are not just your patients, they are our friends. This is the most important requirement for this position.

- Listen to the patient's needs and concerns.

- Discuss patient's hygiene and give suggestions that promote good oral health. Perform "mouth tours" using an iTero imaging. The patient can view their dentition in 3-D using this high tech imaging technology. ( iTero knowledge not required)

- Provide routine teeth cleaning during regular check-ups

- Every 6 months, either take appropriate x-rays or perform Perio Probing

- Perform Scaling and Root planning ( we schedule 90min for 2 quads of SRP)

- Schedule patient's next dental cleaning and perform patient recall during down time.

- Dentrix Software knowledge a plus, but not required

- New hygienist are welcome to apply. We have the most highly educated and experienced dentists that can help you learn and expand your dental knowledge.

- HIPPA and OSHA training occurs every year at our office.

- COVID vaccination is required

To keep our patients and staff safe, we have installed hospital grade Hepa air filters in each of the operatories and follow all current CDC procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
