Job description
Our organization is seeking a talented and dependable Hygienist. We schedule each patient for one hour in addition to an hour lunch. We are currently looking for three days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that patients are properly recorded and that their dental care is provided in a timely manner and according to the standard of care. Our office runs efficiently and effectively, so we're looking for someone with a great deal of interpersonal skill to aid in that process.
Responsibilities:
- Use x-rays to examine teeth and detect tooth decay, hidden cavities, and periodontal disease.
- Perform oral cancer exams and other procedures.
- Explain treatment options to patients.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
- Provide patients with a list of post-care instructions after treatment is provided.
- Discuss treatment procedures with patients before they begin, to explain what the treatment will entail and the results they should expect.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
