MyCHN is a federally qualified health center (FQHC), that provides dental, medical, and behavioral health services in Freeport, Alvin, Pearland, League City, Galveston, Angleton, and Bacliff.

MyCHN is looking for a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to assist the dentist(s) and dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients of the center.

The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. The RDA is committed to ensuring a positive patient experience and following PCMH guidelines and principles. Your expertise will be embedded in an integrated care clinic that follows patient-centered medical home guidelines and principles.

Selected candidates should be team-oriented, dedicated to improvement, energetic, and have strong time management skills. MyCHN pays highly competitive salaries, and positions may be eligible for NHSC loan repayment. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Completion of accredited course in dental assisting.
• Registered Dental Assistant licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) required Current Radiology.
• Certification required High ethical standards.
• Well-organized and self-directed.
• Team player.
• Ability to relate to people at all levels in the organization.
• Good communication skills.
• Consumer advocate for quality health and dental care and services.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols.
• Ability to operate computer, copier, and fax machine.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
