Job Description
Teledyne Relays, is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF switching systems for the Aerospace & Defense and Test & Measurement markets. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, Mexico, Taiwan and France. We are a vertically oriented manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA territory. Ideally, the individual would be located on the West Coast and work out of one of Teledyne’s locations.
Responsibilities:

Create and achieve a sales budget, including bookings, billings and POS

Manage a group of manufacturer’s representatives and regional distribution networks; participate in quarterly reviews

Create a OEM business development target customer list

Directs field applications team to achieve design wins
-
Regularly meet with current and potential customers

Submit monthly Sales Activity Reports to management

Participate in new product definition and report market trends
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field

Minimum 10 years previous experience in technical field working with manufacturer’s reps and distribution channels in Aerospace & Defense markets

Experience with electronic components required (manufacturing)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
-
Preparation of quarterly presentations; covering short/long-term goals and performance in region

Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Travel required = 50% - 75%
