POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the PSIvet Regional Manager is to effectively lead, teach, and coach the activities of the Practice Consultants to achieve short and long term results, creating maximum efficiency and sales results; providing direct coaching, monitoring, training and assistance to Practice Consultants. This includes growing membership, minimizing member cancellation, increasing member utilization of vendor partner offerings, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Uphold PSIvet mission statement and values.
  • Directly responsible for the supervision of the Practice Consultants, including quarterly performance observations and annual performance reviews.
  • Execute strategies to mentor and assist Practice Consultants to maximize sales performance and attain goals for their geography.
  • Train new Practice Consultants and coach as needed.
  • Assist to resolve any member and vendor issues in the assigned region.
  • Act as Vendor Liaison/relationship manager with coordinating District/Regional vendor managers, attend/direct/present at local meetings for and in conjunction with vendors.
  • Attend and assist with VMA meeting in assigned region.
  • Review Practice Consultant reporting, including mileage, expenses, leads, prospects, and activity.
  • Review CRM activity, through reporting and monitor team success/activity and provide regular feedback/reporting to team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or animal health science preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience commensurate to fulfill all of the above functions and responsibilities is acceptable.
Preferred 2 years outside veterinary sales/consultation experience
Experience
4+ years of sales management experience. Experience in animal health preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Programs, Practice Management Software, Apple iPad, Google Platform

  • Ability to influence and build a culture that supports business priorities and strategies.
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational, time management, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to understand and assimilate product knowledge and technical materials related to sales.
  • Working knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and P&L experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, member-service driven environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with members, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Exhibits a willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
  • Must have ability to follow-through to solve member problems.
Travel
50-75% weekday travel dependent on location of candidate, some overnight travel and occasional weekends/after hours
