Merakey seeks mission-driven and experienced nonprofit business leaders skilled in successfully executing strategic plans and empowering high performing staff. The Regional Director will report to the Executive Director and will be based at our office in San Marcos, CA.


Our Regional Director will need to have community residential experience and IDD/DDS/CCL/Regional Center and/or EBSH experience and will be Responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of the IDD program operations.Supervise team members to ensure high levels of fidelity to the model and maintain the Merakey mission.Responsible for coordination and execution of service/operational delivery of activities to maintain full compliance with regulatory and organization requirements.Accountable for ensuing compliance with payors through contract interpretation and payor requirements.Leads all QI initiatives and Outcome reporting.Understanding of Title 17 and Title 22.Provides coverage for Program Administrator when off or position is vacant.

Pay Range:$80,000-$95,000

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
  • Must have no less than 4 years experience in the behavioral health field with, at a minimum:
  • Two years of experience in a mental health setting;
  • Two years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities; and
  • Possess at least two years of program management experience in a residential setting.
  • RBT Certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Certification required.
  • Valid CA Driver's license, ability to pass appropriate clearances.
