Your Job as a Regional Business Office Director:
Reporting to the CTC Group Business Office Operations Director, the Regional Business Office Director is responsible for all business office operations for one of the Group’s five Regions. They will direct their region’s business office operations and provide on-going direction and support to the Regional Vice President and Controller as well as CTC Group Management.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule!

Your Responsibilities as a Regional Business Office Director:
  • Ensures the Region’s Business Office Team is adequately resourced and effectively managed.
  • Monitors and evaluates the Region’s Revenue Cycle Key Indicator goals including Cash Collections, AR Days, Bad Debt and Denials. Ensures that CBO productivity is managed and measured for improvement opportunities.
  • Provides Regional Vice President and Controller with clear feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintains controls for all cash collected and posted in Patient Accounting system.
  • Maintains effective communication with third party insurance carriers to resolve issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction.
  • Maintains effective communication with the Group leadership team to ensure that all third party compliance guidelines are met.
  • Reviews all statistical reports to monitor trends and determine operational deficiencies and implements corrective action plans as necessary
  • Maintains knowledge of industry changes and trends.
  • Provides Leadership, support and fosters a team environment. Monitor staff time, schedules, and time off requests.
  • Ability to motivate staff in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
  • Completes accounts receivable reviews and assists with patient accounts that are not meeting Revenue Cycle Key Indicator goals including Cash Collections, AR Days, Bad Debt and Denials
  • Provides training for all business office staff. Assists with training in regards to patient demographic, insurance information, eligibility, and denials.
  • Monitor billing and collection processes and implement procedures to ensure timely submission and collections.
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications of a Regional Business Office Director:
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. MBA preferred.
  • Must have at least 4 years’ progressive successful Business Office Management experience in an outpatient healthcare setting or previous Corporate BOD experience required.
  • Experience working with information technology and proficiency with software packages including Excel.
  • Previous experience with a proprietary healthcare system highly preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong healthcare Revenue Cycle aptitude and possesses associated technical skills.
  • Strong communications skills - both written and verbal.
