Description: The role of an Assistant in Administrative Operations at CABA is to perform tasks and coordinate activities related to CABA employees and employee resources in support of the operations of the HR department.

This position is a hybrid position with 3 days/week in-person at the corporate office.

  • A professional, yet friendly phone and email demeanor
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Works well in teams and has the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and stressful environment
  • Ability to execute active listening and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • The COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position. A valid religious or medical exemption would be accepted but would require submission of weekly COVID-19 testing.

DUTIES:

  • Assists with recruitment and interview processes
  • Assists in the hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks, issuing job confirmation letters, and other internal communication
  • Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow up letters at the end of the recruiting process
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
  • Participates in new hire trainings and orientations
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related matters
  • Make photocopies, fax documents and perform other clerical functions
  • Perform administrative and other related duties as assigned by management
  • Focus on employees and employee resources as related to employee relations, policies and procedures, and recruitment and training
  • Assists with employee-relations activities and programs
  • Maintains employee files and database
  • Partakes in the administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs
