Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona provides help, creates hope, and serves all. We seek an energetic recruiter with outstanding customer service and follow-up skills to hire awesome employees and promote our culture of belonging and inclusion.

You'll collaborate with department managers to fill open positions through creative recruitment sources and help ready selected applicants for onboarding.

You'll have an opportunity to work with the many agencies of CCS that serve a diverse population and communities in Arizona and New Mexico.

Essential Functions

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, newspapers, colleges and local community resources
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications within 24 business hours of receipt
  • Provide ongoing, timely, professional feedback and status to hiring managers
  • Make verbal offers and written offers for employment
  • Provide timely and organized paperwork to HR Coordinator to complete onboarding process
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to Human Resources team on a weekly basis
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Create and promote CCS's reputation as "best place to work"
  • Foster and maintains supporting, partnering relationships with management and employees
  • Provide exemplary internal/external customer service

Minimum Qualifications

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.

  • BS in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter, in-house, or staffing agency recruiter
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes such as phone interviewing, reference checks and in person interviews
  • Familiarity with recruiting and HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to work to multiple, time-sensitive deadlines and shifts in priorities
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong communication skills - oral, and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style and tone, proofreading, spelling and grammar
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe
  • Maintain accurate, compliant personnel filing, and related documentation practices
  • Knowledge and application of commonly used HR concepts, practices and procedures including State and Federal laws
  • Current driver's license, proof of insurance and 39-Month Motor Vehicle Report; reliable safe transportation
  • Pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana despite recreational use laws)
  • Obtain State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

DESIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Additional years of Human Resources experience, recruiter experience
  • Experience in a human services non-profit or charitable organization environment
  • Bilingual, English / Spanish verbal and written
  • 1-3 years benefits administration experience
  • 1-3 years payroll experience
