Big Rig Lending, LLC, an online marketplace lender specializing in commercial vehicle lending with nationwide coverage, currently seeks experienced Asset Recovery Specialist. Ideal candidates will generate recovery dollars from past due accounts in line with our Corporate Purpose and Guiding Principles in an innovative, inside sales call center environment. This is an onsite in person position in Dalton, GA. We may consider remote work after training in our Dalton, GA office for candidates living in GA and Southeast, TN.

ASSET RECOVERY SPECIALIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate Recovery Dollars from Post Default / Charged Off Accounts with the goal of getting the accounts Paid in Full
• Work with the Collections Manager to determine if accounts qualify for Out for Repo then seek approval to place Out for Repossession
• Partner with the Collections Manager for negotiation on Settlement Request Proposals and Agreements
• Ensure documentation of all collection attempts in appropriate systems
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls
• Communicate with customers primarily over the telephone to determine reasons for overdue payments, obtain information for loan repayment, and to answer questions regarding status of accounts
• Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations, company policies and procedures and regulations.
• Meet or exceed minimum goal requirements based on Company objectives

ASSET RECOVERY SPECIALIST JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2-5 years in consumer and/or commercial collections
• Experience in past due collections including charge off accounts, escalated collections, and/or credit management in a call center environment or closely related field with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals
• Prior relevant experience in subprime lending/collections, , mortgage, commercial lending, call center collections and/or consumer lending collections strongly preferred
• Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products including Outlook email and point of sale systems
• Ability to interact effectively primarily over the telephone and through email
• Attention to detail and exceptional prioritizing and organizations skills
• Strong interpersonal, active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Flexibility to work various daytime schedules including some Saturdays
• Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus
