You passed the state real estate exam. Interviewed and signed on with a brokerage. You took every training class available, held a few open houses, posted new construction walk-thru videos on social media, and even helped a friend or family member buy or sell a house or two. However, landing new customers has been a challenge. If this sounds familiar, you can take comfort in knowing you're not alone. But only a few will take action and do something about it.

Real estate is hard. It takes discipline, tenacity, systems, processes, and a full-time commitment. There are a ton of unwritten, implicit skills and best practices that are only gained from being in the trenches and learning from a seasoned veteran willing to share them with you. There are also many tools and systems that don't work and will waste your time and money.

Most people are not telling you that selling real estate is a SALES POSITION. It's not all the glamour we see on TV. It takes hours and hours of behind-the-scenes lead generation with tons of rejection, failure, and sometimes zero earnings to show for all the time and effort. You have to be tough-minded to keep going and push through.

Compensation:

$100,000+ at plan commission

Responsibilities:

  • Commit to a minimum of 2-hours of lead generation per day
  • Consult buyers on their motivations and vision of the perfect home
  • Educate buyers about the home-buying process
  • Stay on top of data and microeconomics of the local real estate market.
  • Write and negotiate professional sales contracts
  • Communicate with clients on a high level
  • Attend weekly team meetings, one-on-one, and training sessions regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Must commit to being a full-time agent
  • Have a PC or MAC with the latest software
  • Have cell phone
  • Have an active real estate license or have passed the state exam
  • Driver's license and ability to travel by automobile
