Centennial Hospital offers a full range of imaging tools to provide patients with diagnostic services. Our digital imaging technology allows doctors to access test results immediately, so treatment can begin more quickly.


Position Summary:

This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Hospital of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Generates appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program. Current certification by ARRT. Must maintain current registry. Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level. Must maintain BLS through the American Heart Association or ARC.

Education:
Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program. Current certification by ARRT.

Experience:
Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience
