Talent One Recruitment & Staffing is currently searching for a Research and Development Manager.
Candidate must have previous experience working for Food Manufacturing companies.
(Preferably frozen meals).

Job Type: Direct Hire.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (O.T. as needed).
Payrate: $110k - $120k (D.O.E)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Food Science, Engineering, or an equivalent Science).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in R&D
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- PC literate
- Able to work in office, laboratory, and manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work Overtime as needed (Flexible schedule).
- Valid Driver's license
- Open to travel 25% to other facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new products/ Improve current products.
- Lead multiple development projects (Detail investigation, experimental design, sound scientific techniques, and data-based decision making).
- Must be able to work with other departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Purchasing).
- Ensure accurate product information input to Cost Accounting.
- Complete cost savings projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
