The Global Laboratory Services group in Richmond, CA is posting an entry-level laboratory technician position. The open position is with the Lubricants Performance Testing Laboratory (LPTL). LPTL is a customer-focused service group that performs bench testing of lubricants in support of product development, technical services, and research & development activities conducted by Chevron Lubricants and Oronite Additives.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Sample management: Login, testing, disposal, and chemical inventory control.
  • Equipment management: quality control, calibrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Data management: data upload and reporting to customers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of scientific testing methods
  • Scientific Laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in science related field
  • 2 or more years’ experience in Chemical Industry
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 63,100 – $131,400 . The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
