We are currently seeking the following position, based at our location in Monaca, PA:

Quality Technician

Annual Salary: $50,000

Job Profile:

The Quality Technician is responsible for operations support through audits, testing of the glass containers, process documentations and providing feedback to Production Supervisors regarding all aspects of quality. They will accomplish this by following protocols and procedures outlined by Quality department and through the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

They are responsible to review previous shift performance with departing Technician as well as but not limited to;

• Gauge lehr verification
• Create new limit samples and limit sample collection
• Packed ware audits
• Communicating with Forming and Finishing Supervisors regarding quality results
• Communicating with lehr selectors
• Daily testing (weight, capacity, annealing, etc…)
• Containing non-conforming pallets
• Training & development of Team Members on Quality protocol and procedures
• Provide guidance to Shift Management regarding Quality issues
• In addition any other task requested by Management

In addition, the Quality Technician will fill in for the Shift Supervisor whenever they are absent or unable to perform their main duty.

All aspect of the job should be performed with respect to the Quality policy and in accordance with safety, housekeeping and environmental rules and regulation.

• Director of Quality Assurance
• President of Stoelzle Glass USA (STP)

• Quarantined pallets
• Pack to cut

Critical success factors:

What level of education is required for success?

• High school

What knowledge, skills, & experience are required for success?

• Supervisory skills
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of glass defects
• Communication skills
