H & H Tool, Inc. in Lapeer is currently looking for a Quality Technician.

We offer over 40 years of precision machining experience. We also provide extensive engineering knowledge and start of the art quality monitoring. We specialize in high volume production.

Description

• Maintains gage calibration system.
• Repairs and maintains gages.
• Inspects first pieces.
• Performs bench sign offs for start of production.
• Issues gages to production floor.
• Performs floor round inspections.
• Inspects incoming material.
• Selects products for test at specified stages in production process.
• Records test data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Performs containment duties and quarantine disposition.
• Recommends modifications of existing quality of production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.

Requirements

• Experience working with metals.
• Experience measuring with calipers, micrometers, indicators.
• Print reading with understanding GD & T a plus.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
