Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing audits of Participating Providers in HCSC networks. Reviews medical records and examines office environments in order to rate overall service and quality of care and ADA compliance. Facilitates mailing HEDIS data request forms to participating providers. Obtains, analyzes, and evaluates medical record documentation submitted for HEDIS. Conducts site visits to providers to obtain and abstract medical record documentation. With coordinator or senior staff oversight, assists providers in identifying, planning, and implementing activities to enhance and improve their medical record and HEDIS documentation.

*** Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days work from home ***

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor Degree or a clinical license Registered Therapist, RN, LPN, Pharmacy Technician
  • 2 years experience with medical record reviews
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of standard medical practices, clinical practice guidelines and ADA guidelines
  • Knowledge of quality improvement strategies and processes
  • Experience with writing/updating policies and procedures
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel including overnight stays.
