Bell is seeking a Quality Operations Specialist to support CMM operations at our Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) located in Fort Worth, Texas.

We believe people should love what they do. In this role, the Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for creating CMM programs for a leading aerospace company during the launch of new type of aircraft.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for creating CMM programs for a leading aerospace company during the launch of new type of aircraft.
• Creation of open set up programs for all aircraft types as required by the customer.
• Part model extraction for programming using Catia V6
• Performing and interpreting CMM inspections on rotorcraft components and assemblies.
• Complete all records of inspection including rejection NCR reports as applicable accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection for all CMM processes.
• Perform process checks/audits on all materials and equipment used in CMM.
• Must have solid work experience/expertise in CMM Inspection and Programming
• Familiar with Corrective Action / Continuous Improvement Methodology to include Statistical Analysis and Project Management techniques
• Inspection technology used in the Composite, Assembly, Flight, Fabrication, and Repair and Overhaul
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with executive management and customer representatives.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Access, Word and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Zeiss Calyspo and or Hexagon PC-Dmis Software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree (preferred) and 6+ years work experience in aerospace technical discipline programming
• 6+ years minimum experience with CMM’s and inspection equipment programming.
